Hello, I’m John Irvin, a freelance proofreader and copyeditor. I started proofreading in December 2020 after years of writing and publishing my own books. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities and spent a year and a half working in the medical field before dedicating myself fully to freelancing. Writing has been my passion since I was fourteen, and I now enjoy helping authors, entrepreneurs, and publishers polish their work to perfection.

Most of my work is in nonfiction—business, self-help, and memoirs—but I also enjoy the occasional fiction project to keep things fresh. I offer both copyediting and proofreading services.
